In 2020, Mecopol Construction underwent a significant transformation. The company was acquired by new Directors who implemented a new Management Structure and embarked on a series of strategic initiatives.

Converting the Close Corporation into a (Pty) Ltd.
Achieving a B-BBEE Level 2 Contributor status
Expanding the company’s focus to include the open market, including Eskom
Establishing a new Head Office in Jet Park, Boksburg, Gauteng
Improving the company’s CIDB rating to a level 8EP
Implementing a new Payroll system
Implementing a Business Management System (BMS) in line with ISO requirements
Implementing a new accounting and Financial Management system
Establishing strong relationships with major material and equipment suppliers
